Mairead Maguire: a fresh approach

The President was elected on a promise of change, and there is no doubt the people of the world want change.  A change away from poverty, nuclear weapons, war, militarism, and abuse of our human rights and freedom to be fully human. 

Obama brings an energy, a fresh approach and a new way of thinking and acting.  We pray he will  be a peace builder and solve
problems non-violently, in the spirit of the great Martin Luther King.

I congratulate him, and his family, and the American people in their excellent choice, and wish them every blessing in the future.
