TheCommunity.com is producing a series of interviews for television with Paul Simon, Michael Douglas, Bono and other artists interviewing the Nobel Peace Prize Laureates. The series will bring the lives and wisdom of these leaders -- seen through the eyes of some of the icons of today's global culture -- into homes across the globe.
CONCEPT
The Nobel Peace Prize Laureates, more than any other group, harbor the wisdom needed to help countries and regions move from conflict to resolution – based on hard experience, courage, and the uncommon gift of foresight. These are individuals who have stepped into conflict and war and have, through different approaches, successfully moved these trouble spots toward peace.
What's so hard about Peace? is an introduction to these special individuals. Through the series, the histories, personalities and sacrifices of the Nobel Laureates are revealed to us, through personal dialogue with some of the most celebrated and influential artists of our time.
